Shrewsbury firm Azure Natural Energy Systems has won the top UK award from heat pump manufacturer Dimplex, by being named its Installer of the Year. The award was presented to Azure at Dimplex’s annual installer conference and builds on Azure’s success last year when it was the joint winner of the Non-Domestic Installation of the Year category.

Based on the Lower Edgebold Industrial Estate in Shrewsbury and only established four years ago, Azure has built a reputation for detailed project management and has carried out a diverse range of installations, including social housing, schools and large scale air source schemes. Pioneers of high performance heat pumps for commercial and communal use, Azure offers ‘cradle-to-grave’ ownership of projects, including the complex designs required for communal installations. The company is also taking part in the Energy Saving Trust’s field trial of heat pumps, to ensure the technology has the performance credentials to take the industry forward.
